The West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility is a 120,000-square-foot,120-bed, impressively modern facility in history-rich Clarksburg, West Virginia. The facility opened in 2008 and is considered one of the finest veterans-only nursing homes in the United States. 

The West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility features private and semi-private rooms, as well as a 20-bed unit reserved for residents in need of specialized care because of Alzheimer’s Disease or Dementia.
 
The West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility is equipped with the most advanced equipment, enabling our staff to provide a full range of care to West Virginia’s veterans. Our dedicated nurses are available around the clock, and a physician is on call, ensuring the highest level of care at all times. The facility also features pharmacy services ​​and breezeway-connected access to the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center.

All rooms feature full-function hospital beds and an installed nurse-call system. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable television, and telephones with long-distance calling enabled. Four congregate whirlpool walk-in tubs, an exercise room, and a therapy room are available for residents’ use. Two wheelchair-capable buses are available to transport residents to medical appointments and recreational activities. 

The facility boasts a robust recreation department and a chaplain.
