West Virginia Military Hall of Fame

The West Virginia Military Hall of Fame was established to recognize Veterans who distinguished themselves in service and who contributed significantly to the state and community following discharge.

Administrative Process

The West Virginia Department of Veterans Assistance extends its sincere gratitude to all Veterans, service members, advocacy organizations, and members of the public who submitted comments regarding the proposed draft rules for the West Virginia Military Hall of Fame.

Your valuable feedback plays a vital role in shaping standard governance for honoring the extraordinary service and sacrifice of Mountain State heroes.

With the public comment period now concluded, agency leadership are thoroughly reviewing all submitted input. This feedback will be utilized to refine and finalize the permanent guidelines governing the nomination, selection, and induction processes, ensuring the Hall of Fame appropriately celebrates West Virginia’s finest military personnel for generations to come.
